I knew right when I first met Allyson, as she was getting her hair and makeup styled, that I liked her.  Within minutes, she was cracking me up with her self-deprecating humour, and I thought– you gotta love a girl that’s this gorgeous and can still laugh at herself!  Just makes her more beautiful.   I’m so happy to share a ton of my favorites from her recent Private Boudoir Session.  I LOVE those first two shots above– check out those pointed toes!

In my job, I shoot a LOT of lingerie.  And don’t get me wrong– I loves me some sexy lingerie!  But I also love the inspiration I get from shooting different things.  In this case, we had a little fun with shaggy pillows and a soft blanket.  These ended up being some of my favorites from the whole shoot just because of how soft and timeless they feel.

I’ve been having a bit of a bad day– some technical issues are causing me some unwelcome headaches which my usual coffee just can’t seem to cure.   I decided to switch gears and share some lovely boudoir pictures instead to try and get my mind off all that stress!  Here’s some of my favorite shots from a recent Private Boudoir Session with the beautiful Miss Nadia.

And just like that, I’m actually feel much better already~

Before I tell you about the lovely Christine, I just thought I’d clear up a couple things about this blog.  People often ask me if the ladies I post on here give permission to be posted, and the answer is YES!   All our clients fill out a privacy preferences agreement, letting them dictate what is shared or not shared.  We have been incredibly lucky to have so many of our clients trust us enough to give us full discretion over what we’d like to post.  I’ll tell you, there’s no better feeling than wrapping up a gorgeous shoot with a client and knowing that I can share their pictures for all of you to see!  And because so many of them are happy to let us share their pictures,  not all those shoots end up being blogged or posted on our Facebook Fan Page simply due to time and to avoid congesting your newsfeeds;) I just wanted to take the time to let people know this, as I’d never want clients to wonder why their sessions weren’t blogged.  If we posted everyone that gave us permission, I’d be at it all day and honestly, I just don’t have that kind of time;) Whenever I find a moment to blog a session, I usually try to pick ones that show something new that we haven’t done before– whether it’s the poses, the styling, the outfits, the angles and composition… you get the idea!

OK so now that that’s cleared up, it’s time to share Christine’s shoot.  When she first came in, we all chatted about how much she resembled pop star Selena Gomez, but by the time she was done hair & makeup, all I could think was she’s way too sexy to look like a teen star!  Christine blew me away during her shoot and I had so much fun working with her.   Something about her green eyes just pierced me in every shot.  Here’s some of my favorites~

OK, so I know I already blogged the shots from the stylized shoot we did with the lovely Renee, but I saved a few “bonus” shots that we took.  Some fun with fishnets!  These ones had a different feel too them so I wanted to blog them separately.  I usually shoot in my all white studio room, but for these, I used a darker backdrop to give it a little bit of a sexier feel and I love how they turned out!  They were still shot with only natural window light and no flashes or strobes.

I think it goes without saying that Renee is stunning (hello– Mila Kunis look-a-like much???)  but I must give props to the awesome stylist Sunita Sumaru for doing such a great job on her hair & makeup.  Seriously, there’s nothing this woman can’t do!

Carey - Wow! Between the make-up, the perfect choice of background and this stunning model I can’t say anything but wow. Wonderful work Kat and the girls!

Barbara - I second the motion, WOW! Beautiful work!

Lindsay Gee - Sooooo hot…!!! AND soft but punchy…not too sharp*wink*! ahhh what did i tell ya?…if I could be a FLY ON THE WALL in your office :) haha

she’s sooo meant to be in front of a lens! :)
